U.S. and Israeli strikes are hitting Iran’s missile sites and major military facilities as the regional conflict accelerates. Iran is leaning on proxy forces to keep control, but the domestic situation is unraveling under the strain.

Tehran’s chain of command is being pressured, and the critical question is what happens if senior Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) leadership starts to crack. If that fracture begins, instability can ripple through Iran’s entire network, from decision-making to logistics.

With targets being hit across the region, including activity linked as far as Cyprus, the regime’s survival may hinge on what Iranians do next. The pressure is not only military, it is structural, aimed at the machinery that keeps the system running.

That machinery is cash, weapons pipelines, and logistics. If sustained pressure holds, proxy groups can splinter quickly and funding can seize up fast.

One major vulnerability is the financial layer. Iran-aligned networks that rely on money laundering routes in Latin America become a liability as the center weakens, especially when protection and coordination break down.

This also hits Russia hard. If Iran’s support structures degrade, Moscow could lose a critical wartime partner, and the effects can cascade through supply chains tied to battlefield sustainment.
