Hello, new here, about nausea [View all]

Hope it is a good day today My husband has esophageal cancer, diagnosed in March 2016. He has a feeding tube and gets all of his nourishment, except water and medicine, through that. He gets an anti-nausea treatment during his treatment and has 3 anti-nausea prescriptions that he takes pretty regularly until the side effects calm down. But the nausea is persistent and he never feels really good. We look for any home remedies and try things that sound sensible and don't involve more medicine. We discovered accupressure points and use them. Cold cloths on his head. Massage. Happy thoughts. Things that divert him. He just had a long treatment Wed. and got nauseous the next morning, even with all the medicine. I was thinking about it last night, and wondered if there is sound that helps. I googled 'sound and nausea relief' today and found something on youtube. There are 356 reviews and they seem positive, so we are trying it right now. Here is the link:

If you want to try it, it is titled Full Chakra Healing by Eric Bartel. It is not unpleasant, kind of celestial. I will let you know how my husband does. If it works, he can have it on 24/7 .

He has been on chemo since the end of April and a recent CAT scan shows that it is working against the cancer, so we have fresh hope and it helps get through another session of chemo.

Blessings.
