cells harvested for later but haven’t had the transplant. Sorry not to be able to relate to MDS, but do know a lot of MM patients who've had a transplant since it has been a standard of care, though more common. are autologous vs the allogeneic your wife will be getting. One noteable patient I know, a leader in our community, was on death’s door and got an allogeneic from his brother as salvage. That was ~ 15-20 yrs ago I think and he is basically cured, and ‘cure’ isn’t a common word with MM.
