New mattress smell making me sick. All mattress covers protect from bed bugs, etc. [View all]

Rather than throw a perfectly good mattress out, I am trying to buy a cover for it, but I cannot find one that says it protects from smells. Does anybody know if there is such a thing?

If I have to buy a hypoallergenic mattress - they are Expensive!

Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
