5. I don't think a lot of people understand just how big of an upheaval we might be facing

I fall in to most of their 'target' categories. I'm a Democrat who is also a single, childless cat lady, sexual assault victim and a veteran. That being said, I also have no doubt they will attempt to shred the government's system of checks and balances so that their greed, animosity and hunger for power will overwhelm the country.

Unfortunately, far too many people are of the 'that can't happen here' mind set.

As for medication, I take 1/2 a tablet of Trazodone at night and for the first time in decades I'm sleeping through the night. If it's been an particularly stressful day, I take a whole tablet. I have Clonazepam, as needed, for anxiety and take between 1/2 and a whole one, depending on the strength of the anxiety. It does make me a bit drowsy, especially if I'm not up and active, but I consider that to be a side benefit. I went for so many years just getting between 2 and 4 hours of sleep per night, I relish the time behind closed eye lids.

My 'mandatory' daily full dose medication is Fluoxetine (Prozac). However, I'm pretty sure I'll be taking full doses of the other two, the closer we get to Jan 20.

I have no intention of celebrating 'Independence Day'. The July 4, 2026 Semi-quincentennial. will just be another day. I'm thinking about spending the day in Canada.
