and then band together, no matter who we are.

I went to at town hall in my red district. It was hosted by the Illinois Democratic Chair's Committee and featured Sean Casten. One of the people who spoke up during the question session is someone I know. She mentioned that she is a member of the LBTQ community, and at long last, married to her partner. She spoke up about being afraid for her safety for the first time in her life. I think all of us feel that way to some degree, whether or not we are gay, trans, etc. TSF has not only robbed us of our democracy, he has taken away the feelings of confidence and security that a lot of us have always felt. We need to work together to reclaim our democracy and our right to feel secure and safe as American citizens.
