Fortunately, thanks to years of spraying, it's all far away from the home, but there's the rub.

Water is heavy. I did have a Ryobi power sprayer years ago, but being Home Depot house brand, something gave way the day after the warranty expired. Pressure zero. Others have success with Ryobi.

Of course, spray painting is different from weed spraying, but just throwing this out there.

My success story is a DeWalt chain saw. Seriously NO ALLEN WRENCHES.

You take the cover off with a big old knob (with tension limiter just like your gas cap) and adjust chain tension with another big old knob.

Most engineering of home power tools is just copycat.
