Today he went to PA to spend the next several weeks with my wife's family. While we're glad that he'll have fun and that this is becoming something of an annual event for him to go blow off steam with his cousins.

He is already taller than my wife and a few days ago I offered a bet to her that he'd be taller than I when he came back. She declined the bet.

We've found that parenting is a combination of joy and pain. We're happy for each advancement but we're sad about what's left behind. We're proud of the young man but we miss the baby, the toddler and the kid.

PEACE!
