4. Even though the inflatable collar was more comfortable, he was so miserable

I took it off of him yesterday morning but he started excessively licking, again, so back on it went. Now that the inflammation is gone he is back to normal grooming behavior so I'll put the collar away and HOPE I don't have to use it again.

Now he's back to initiating 'slow blinks' with me and snuggling with me instead of hiding.
