Penelope's crocuses

My 15-year-old cat Penelope passed on October 17, 2022. I buried her in the backyard flowerbed and planted crocuses on the mound of the grave last November. A photo of the grave was one of several I posted here last fall in a memorial. I mentioned planting the crocuses and DUer judesedit replied that the grave would look beautiful come springtime. That has come to pass as can be seen below in the photo I took this afternoon. The framed photo of my darling Penelope isn't a permanent part of the memorial.
