10. I totally understand. We want to help them, but we can't explain it in a way they will understand.

I've had to tell a few vets that I want to treat my pet, but not torture them. 3 of my cats spend most of their time outside. If they need antibiotics I always pay for the shot rather than do the pills. I don't mind if my vet has to be the "bad guy", but I don't want my cats thinking of me that way. I had one vet send my wife home with pills for the cat that were too big for her to swallow. I went to see if I could crush them but they were liquid gels so that didn't work out. We had to go back for shots instead. Good luck with Carys I'm sure she'll come around.
