Poor Carys had quite the traumatic Easter, with 3 extra humans in the house. [View all]

She knew something was up because I was racing around, getting things straightened up and dashing around the kitchen doing food prep. Before anyone arrived she was already in her hiding place.

Even after everyone left, she wouldn't come out. I had to put her food bowl next to her hiding place. When she DID finally appear, she conducted a check of the house to make sure it was safe, again.

She did, eventually, let me know I was forgiven for allowing intruders into her domain. I got lots of snuggles before bed. At 3am my eyes opened and saw her sitting by me, just staring. When she saw I was awake she started giving me lots of head bumps and rubs, and then curled up and went back to sleep.

I think she might never get used to any other people, but that's OK. The other people are the ones who are missing out.
