My immediate family members all have/had dark eyes and olive skin. My husband has beautiful blue eyes. When our daughter was born, her eyes were beautifully blue like her dad’s and her hair was strawberry blonde, like mom’s mom, or so I thought. Grandma had told tales of her Viking ancestry, but my mom laughed and informed me that my Norwegian grandmother got her red hair from Miss Clairol! 
When mom took her first look at our littlebird she exclaimed, “Well would you look at those blue eyes! I hope she’ll get to keep them!” Her eyes? “No, dear her Blue eyes.” Quite exotic for our family. And, yes, our littlebird’s all grow up now and her eyes are still blue like her dad’s. Her hair turned out a lovely reddish brown.
Sian will be beautiful no matter what color eyes she ends up with.
