It's funny what can trigger that still feral part of Carys' behavior

I finally got around to getting the screened in back porch ready for Summer. The kidcats always love it out there because they can watch the birds and squirrels. As long as I'm home and the weather permits, during the day I leave the doors open for them to come and go.

Carys finally went out but as soon as she saw me she RACED back in to the den and hid!! I got out treats and finally lured her back to the porch but she got nervous, again.

Admittedly, she was brought inside last October when the porch wasn't being used so it's all a new space for her. Hopefully she will settle down. This year I want to buy some new cat furniture to put out there. And I can sit out there with them, which is nice.
