3. What a wonderful way to begin the day.

I’ve been up awhile, but my eyes are itchy and my energy has not caught up with me yet.
Waiting for the Benadryl to kick in for my eyes.

Lounging on the sofa with DU and N. K. Jamison’s Broken Earth Trilogy at the top of my fiction pile of books-in-waiting. I’m 100 pages into Book 1, so chances are good I’ll finish it today. No chores that can’t wait until tomorrow.

Thanks to decades of Union membership and activism, I’m retired with a pension now and enjoying Labor Day at home. Here’s to increasing the numbers of union memberships, and the increasing power of unions to make our world more equitable, more fair for all working people
