I've come to realize that Arthur is the most empathetic of the indoor fur babies. [View all]

I've been going through some 'stuff' that has been exacerbated by the loss of Tudor. It's just a bad time of the year. My late sister and brother's birthdays, my parent's and my sister's wedding anniversary. Things that should be celebrations but are now cause for triggering grief. My family members are all busy with their own lives, so I'm dealing with this on my own.

Except:

Throughout this rough patch, Arthur has been either within sight of me, or right next to me. Every night he curls up with me, which is a change in his sleep behavior. Sian usually joins in but I think that has nothing to do with my whonky energy but more to do with the fact she seems to have a crush on Arthur. Understandable.

Something told me, from the day he was born, that he was a special boy.

And here he is, ready to hop on to my lap.
