a Barriger, son of a founder of Amtrack, from New Haven, named "Dusty" Rhodes.
Asked him what he did for a living. He said he rode trains.
Cool.
He was hired by Pullman to watch passengers embark and disembark.
Cooler.
He designed retrofits to make passenger travel smoother.
He was proudest of removing the boxed seating arrangements with a curved outer seat replacement for easier getting in and out.
Coolest.
