If the prohibitionists are successful in restricting the private ownership of guns, criminals in the United States will get their guns the same way. Only the criminal gangs and drug cartels will not be buying Smith and Wesson Model 17 revolvers, they will be buying fully automatic guns because the price will be the same.

Watch out for the law of unintended consequences, it has no mercy.
