Had a similar story today about the fact that Michigan eliminated its three-person screening boards that previously held the power to deny a concealed carry license even if the person passed the statutory requirements for obtaining a license: http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/dec/01/michigan-gun-control-boards-law-eliminated
