...the "gun politics" umbrella.

I'd say that the "four counts of making false statements to a firearms dealer" mostly fits the SOP but that validity would really depend on the nature and specifics of the alleged statements. Those may be simply related to certain weak terminology in the 4473 that's been discussed here before.
