4. There are a few things I'm seeing

First, people everywhere are starting to realize guns are here to stay.

>>Mass shooters, rampage lunatics, fringe nutter killers and other assorted shooters/killers of multiple people are maybe 1% of all murderers. Trying to link and prevent those crimes by weapon type and regulation of that set is like nailing jello to a wall.
>>Many folks are noticing that violent crimes are mostly confined to a small part of the population and that such behavior can be mitigated when the causes are addressed.


Second, some pro-control folks seem to be less trusting of some of the 'ban them all' talking heads.

Third, it seems that because the rights vs control issue is so very fragmented with so many facets, meaningful progress will be painfully slow.
