This doesn't mean that a particular male is more likely to victimize you than a particular female but that, if you've been victimized it was likely a male perpetrator.

I'll have to research David Eagleman. That sounds interesting.

In terms of guns, I favor certain prudent laws but I think the idea that law = control is a myth we like to tell ourselves.
