You have to wonder WTF is going on, are the people in charge doing this on purpose? Are they directed to make it as hard as possible? Or do just ass hats climb to the top of the ladder in these agencies? when I was driving a van for DAV to the VA hospital in Salt Lake City, I must say there was a couple of times I wanted to reach over a counter and slap the piss out of some asshole giving a vet a hard time and being nasty about it. You can be civil to people even if you can't help them. I've also heard they are not allowed to help vets with paper work, but i'm not sure how true this is.
