Here's my tumble update. [View all]

There really isn't one except to say that I hopped out of bed like a Spring Chicken, this morning. The bruising isn't nearly as bad as I feared. There is still a swelling on my arm and both bruised areas are tender but not REAL tender.

I guess this shouldn't be surprising. I barreled through basic training with a raging respiratory infection. My lungs rattled so loud that other recruits would wake me up to make sure it wasn't a death rattle. That's no exaggeration. I ended up graduating as an Honor Recruit. Maybe they felt sorry for me.

I also dropped a roto tiller on my head and walked up to the store to buy some antiseptic. I didn't want to drive, in case I passed out. Then I went back to roto tilling the garden.

Then there's the time I managed to survive an intense encounter with carbon monoxide. Lost my sense of taste for a few months, but otherwise I had no after effects.

Perhaps I have an extremely active and protective Guardian Angel. I like to think it's Queen Elizabeth I. She survived quite a few near death encounters, too.
