Of course there is the author Louis L'Amour.
I’ve read every book he wrote, including the non-westerns.

Another favorite of mine is Elmer Kelton.
The first of his many books I read was ‘The Pumpkin Rollers’.

I’m always looking for a good western novel.
If you know of one, please recommend it.
