2. THE SHAMAN SINGS (1994) by James D. Doss

This is the first of the series, and this is my second or third reading of this series - just started today. I treasure every page.

He reminds me of Colon Cotterill and his Dr. Siri series in Laos..science, superstition, religion, spirits, and HUMOR.... only this is about the Utes in Colorado.

Doss has a new book coming out Oct. 30. He died just after he finished it.
