'Tis olde English, and as for alle olde English, it has morphed in pronunciation over the centuries.

Repeat after me . . . Woostersheer Sauce!

Methings young lady was hoping for more romantic words of affection!
(You know the lines, they start with . . . your skin is like alabaster, and your eyes pools with depth I have never known before.)

Now, work out how to say "It’s a braw bricht moonlicht nicht"!
(As the young lad said to his lass behind the kirk at night before he had his knowledge of her.)

Hint: Try to read Chaucer in the olde English. Pronounce it literally, as if you are German.

As far as the joke goes though, it's pathetic. I'd rate it 1 out on 10. Do better!
