1. Belgium -- when your jerseys look like you lost a paintball fight

that must be dispiriting. And as I’m typing Belgium ties it!

There have been some great games. Mexico Ecuador was a knife fight. I didn’t know that they had suspended diplomatic negotiations over Ecuador entering the Mexican embassy to arrest an ex politico granted asylum.

Then, England and Kane this morning. The guy had two chances in the second half and ripped them both, especially the second. It will be remembered as one of the all time great England goals…Bellingham’s sheer determination just to get the shot off, Gordon’s poise and deft heel pass, and Kane, where the first touch always sets up the second which always sets up the freaking missile in the upper right corner.
