Wondering if you've been there, Rick. I saw an HGTV House Hunter Int'l a few months ago about a family trying to buy a house in Italy in their ancestral town. It was just moving how much it meant to the father/husband for his children to be physically in touch with the land always, after his parents' home was lost many years ago.
