18. The Moon often times does not represent the mother

Many times it represents the Father if he, in fact was the nurturer. No doubt, many times, it does reflect the mother. I see that when it reflects the mother it often reflects the (-) side as well as the (+) side. I find it very hard to develop standard formulas for the moon as it is so unpredictable. So many times, it seems to represent the karmic ties one has also.

Yes, I understand the usage/interpretation in the Tarot. All I am saying is that it is always so much more that what I thought it was just after I thought I started to have a grip on it. I know one thing for sure: The Moon is nuts. It's crazy. It has no use for rationality.
