I was diagnosed with Cyclical Cushing's in 2004. Due to lack of insurance, I had to go a chemical route to try and shrink the pituitary tumor that I had as well. By 2009 after little success, and finally getting insurance, I had the surgery.

The prognosis in general is very good. I was unfortunately one of those very few whose pit gland never 'woke' back up after the trauma of the surgery. So now for the last 5 years, I have suffered from pan-hypopituitarism. I am on steroids, thyroid replacement, sex hormone replacement, and have a lot of immune issues, chronic fatigue, and myalgia.

Being as young as she is I suspect she is going to come through with flying colors.

Please keep us updated.
