i almost had a volunteer gig at this place-

there is a great little museum there that is doing an inventory because they closed. i was going to help w that, and hopefully work w the conservator they will hire when done.
but they decided not to have new volunteers. so disappointed.
because of the lack of traffic these days, i could have gotten there in about the same time it took me to get to my old gig in downtown chi. locked out of that, and boy does it hurt.

i was so excited. my old stomping grounds. born and raised just down the river from this place.
feel bad for the director who is stuck doing it all herself.
