some of whom who propose that the death of Jesus was also the death of god, permanent real death, not the weekend off death. This sacrificial act liberated humanity from the chains of transcendent religion by unifying the spirit of god with the real world. Of course it took around 1700 years for the enlightenment to get around the stultifying power of the church, and 300 years later we are still struggling to keep those chains off.
