4. Since we don't really need to know the results of each election within a couple hours...

I think it is past time to return to the old ballpoint pen and sheets of paper. ..purple thumbs wouldn't hurt. It is obvious the machines have caused nothing but heartache and headache...certainly haven't saved us any money.
