(BTW...another reason people should remember Abel Meeropol, who wrote under the name "Lewis Allan"
the first name given to his two stillborn sons), is that Abel and his wife adopted the sons of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg when the Rosenbergs were executed for allegedly giving the Soviet Union the secrets of the hydrogen bomb(while Julius probably did SOME low level spying for the USSR-Ethel was totally innocent, for the record-it was actually Klaus Fuchs who gave that information to the Soviets, as he admitted once he was safely back in East Berlin).
