Tim DeChristopher is one of the few who puts his body where his mouth is.
I have tremendous respect for him.

I disagree with his statement near the beginning that
"now there has been this tremendous shift just in the last few years where civil disobedience is embraced in the mainstream of the climate movement and even at the Sierra Club.”

He may have different information than me, but:
I know the Sierra Club said civil disobedience may be necessary, but I am not aware of them actually doing it.
also, i'm not aware of any other main stream environmental orgs that have embraced civil disobedience.

regardless- an excellent read..
