6. Alerting on a post violating a group's statement of purpose does not cause the poster to be punished

The hosts of the group/forum (not a jury) get that kind of alert, and they just lock it if they agree with the alert (which means nobody can reply to any posts in the thread) . It doesn't count as a "hide" or a "post removed" which only a jury can dish out.

Lots of people get posts locked in Latest Breaking News, for example.

Hosts can more drastically block someone from posting in the group/forum, but it's rare unless someone is a multi-repeat offender and is trying to be a jerk.
