I became a Harris supporter during the Jeff Sessions hearings. I'd never heard of her before. But then this smart, articulate woman of color shed truth and I was hooked. I made certain to see anytime she was grilling someone during congressional hearings. Long before she ran, I was, "I hope this woman runs. This is exactly what we need."

It was and still is my intention to volunteer toward her campaign. I am an old (53), white, gay, southern male. Unfortunately, my husband (3 years) and partner (22 years) died 3 months ago. I'm dealing with my own health issues. But I want to get my act together to support the best candidate for US President. She is Kamala Harris.
