In reply to the discussion: Breaking - Bwaaaah! Inauguration moved indoors because of the cold [View all]helpisontheway
(5,287 posts)23. It was absolutely freezing at Obama's inauguration
At one point I had to take a break in the old post office building. We got hot drinks and I told my mom I was not sure if I could go out there again. We watched the screens and someone said Barack was walking in the parade. We rushed out there to our section (tickets purchased online). Minutes later Barack and Michelle were strutting down the street feet away from us. I was so excited. Did not complain about the cold for the rest of the day. lol

Obama's inauguration was frigid. These cowardly Republicans can't even brave the cold.

Oh yeah, exactly right, I hope it's a shape of things to come. I hope nothing works out like he fantasized it.

I for one am grateful. I was terrified that the Bidens would get sick being outside in the cold.

He will blame someone else for the decision to move it indoors. He will say he would prefer it held outdoors but
