I have pretty extensive experience here in Michigan, though it may be different elsewhere and in other industries. Workers are getting $18-20 an hour and getting free housing. That is for experienced, often permanent workers in the tree fruit sector. I think the average for all farms here is about $16, and the lowest is $10 for part time or temporary work. Immigrants get free health care here through a private charity. Not sure how unusual that is.
