For 8 years at every damn birthday I wished he'd die by midnight. Every single time I fall asleep I wish this, every time I wake up I wish this, I have insomnia (go figure) so I am "wishing" all night and all morning. It does NOT work!
Therefore, I'm going back to what I faithfully did every damn month for 4 fucking years (I did miss 4 months out of 48 months, not too bad).

This is NOT an "evil spell", in fact it is just the opposite. It is a spell to keep his actions from hurting other people. I am 100% for that. Of course, if the mafia had a different idea as to how to stop him I certainly would not refuse their assistance!
