(12,566 posts)Yes the idiot farmers voted for tRump, but the pain is going to be shared by all of us, those who voted for Harris, those who didn’t vot and those who voted for this fiasco. As far as agricultural exports demise, the damage has been done. The same is true for automotive, electronics and more. I was concerned about the loss of Canadian potash, who cares. Farmers will not be fertilizing fields because there is not reason to plant crops if there’s no market.
The djinn is out of the bottle, and the bottle is broke. It is not a benign spirit. It is a monster bent on destruction..
Find ways to resist. If that means joining forces with those who brought this on all of us, sso be it. We’re all in this together and finger pointing and wagging will not do.
States that allow recalls are one place to start. It doesn’t matter who signs the petitions - blue, red or I din’t care enough to vote. Just as tRump unified the Canadians and the Australians, it can happen here.
