So we are absolutely the cause of these subsidies expiring now because we were keeping the Inflation Reduction Act budget neutral to pass it without Republicans. But these subsidies were said to be necessary because of covid. Extending them indefinitely because healthcare costs have skyrocketed is an entirely different argument for why the subsidies are needed and frankly don't do anything to address the cost of healthcare being unsustainable.
