when he ties the shoelaces on these shoes, while his Louis Vuittons glare at him from the closet.

I mean, you spend your whole life sacking and plundering the plebeians in order to make feel good your petty life. So you treat yourself to some quality clothing. Only to have some doofus with ill-fitting suits and a guinea pig on his head give you shoes to wear.
