And a bunch of old Confederates that can't handle it that have a federal government on their side.


My dad's family is from Georgia. I have no illusions about how some Georgians believe and vote; one of my dad's aunt's husband was one of the 'wizards who are not grand' back in the day. I met him once or twice as a child, and he was kind, teasing me as adults sometimes do. The only reason I know is because a family member had a picture of them with him in his white silk outfit and insignia. It was just as weird and creepy as you could imagine.
