it shouldn't have been a surprise.

What are economic "repercussions?" Iran is charging 2 million dollars per vessel to get through the strait. Iran has never stopped shipping oil to China, it is even shipping more oil to China after the war started.

Not opening Hormuz 100% will still have significant economic consequences, will Krasnov be OK with that and surrender?

The only way out for Krasnov is to surrender and I don't think he is stable enough to realize that.

I have seen Iran open Hormuz for Pakistan, India and one other country I forget. China was never stopped from Hormuz.

What will be the price of oil seeing as Iran is charging 2 million dollars for "some vessels" for safe passage through Hormuz?
