If it’s anything like the UK you could have a far right party (reform in their case) breaking away from the mainstream Conservative Tory Party, possibly even overtaking it.

That’s not as likely to happen here, given fundamental structural differences in terms of party politics, but any infighting should be encouraged by democrats.

It’s still important democrats counter any populist messaging by such RW parties if they do emerge. Democrats already got bit in the ass twice by too many working class folks falling for Trump’s BS and I think Carlson and MTG are more politically skilled than we would initially give them credit for.
