Many of these do involve family, friends, and pets, but I enjoy solo experiences too. I even have a grudging respect for bad experiences. At one time, I believed my purpose on earth was to help others - and I still consider it a worthy mission - but now I believe experiencing the physical universe is an even more cosmic calling. We’re ambulating this world utilizing carbon from outside this galaxy to carry out all the biological functions of our bodies. It seems a cosmic joke to go to all that trouble without any meaning. And if there’s such a thing as reincarnation, perhaps there’s a threshold for experience before trying out something else for a new lifetime
