Two shots to get the party started. Now a Manhattan, my favorite cocktail. It’s my nickname, too. Given to me by the referral coordinator at my old job. Coolest nickname I’ve ever had.

Tonight’s variation is a Perfect Manhattan. A classic Manhattan has 3/4 of an ounce of sweet vermouth. A Perfect Manhattan has 1/2 an ounce each of sweet and dry vermouth.

Time to start the weekend.
