Is this a new phone scam? [View all]

Our landmine gets about 5 bs calls per day. Yesterday, it wakes me up to some guy with a foreign accent leaving a garbled undiscernable message, spelling out what sounded like the word drooling. The number I was supposed to call was clear.

Is this some new tactic.? Leave garbled messages making ppl curious or worried they have to call back bc they might miss something important? I played the message back and still cannot make out the message. This pisses me off I'm on the dnc list and its pointless.

I've gotten 2 like that. They are clearly doing it on purpose. The first few words are clearly spoken then they speed up rainin Feb 5 #1

It probably is a scam. For years we were getting 20 to 30 scam calls a day. We stopped answering and deleted any OLDMDDEM Feb 5 #2
